At this month's First Saturday at the Brooklyn Museum, there was this long stretch of wall with hooks to hang the art that wasn't there, and the titles and information of the pieces you couldn't see. Has modern art really gotten this lazy?

Just another normal day. Some meetings, a hearty lunch, snipers on the roof across the street. They vanished before I could get my camera.

Bush was in town at the adjacent Hilton, and managed to get away without incident. I guess their aim was off.

I may let the lady get one.

There were nine buses lined up at 5th and 9th in Brooklyn. They all displayed "Subway Shuttle" on the front. They were all empty. All waiting, lined up down the block.

I've never seen one "Subway Shuttle" bus waiting like this, let alone nine of them behind each other.
