Plants Party U.S.A. (And Elsewhere)

Norager, Denmark.

The current exhibit at Open Source is by Urban Plant Research, two artists who spot and photograph mostly wild plant life surviving and thriving in the urban landscape. After I left the gallery I started to keep more of an eye out for scrappy vegetation, but considering it took me two years to find that gallery, I probably won't spot any.

They're taking submissions for some possible future use, so I went back through my collection and found these.

Macau.

Prague.

Stockholm.

Hong Kong.

Charleston, SC. Not so thrivey, but it was February.

Washington, D.C.

Hey Matt, thanks for visiting us and continuing the project on your blog! These photos are amazing. I'll try to link back soon - we are behind on updating our website because we're in the gallery so much. But are definitely psyched that you are participating.
