Animals on Bah-bah Polya's Farm (And Others)

I think this is my favorite photo of the trip.


The sleepy cat naps in the small houselet next to the main house. The cat is perched on top of the brick oven, which is apparently where Kseniya's dad and uncle slept when they were little. On top, not inside.

They started fluttering and I got terrified while pressing the shutter.


Chasing some other chickens that belonged to... someone.


Not a real goose, but Polya repaints it when it gets worn, so it's been living a lot longer than any real geese.
